TANYA J SCOTT

​

Tanya J Scott is a Director, Writer, Author and Series Creator based in Greater London.  She has over 13 years of experience working in animation, predominantly within Children's television. 

 

Over the past year, Tanya has had her first of two graphic novels (Wizkit: An Adventure Overdue) published in the USA by Simon and Schuster and she is co-creator of "The Underglow"- one of the three successful ideas to make it through the BBC Ignite scheme.  In 2023 Tanya also graduated from the National Film and Television School and her film continues to be screened internationally.  She is passionate about increasing diversity and inclusion within animation and volunteers her time to ensure up-and-coming creators have the knowledge and fair treatment within the industry. 

 

When Tanya isn't creating weird, whimsical and wonderful stories she is usually petting cats or eating bread.
