Dan worked extensively as an actor/musician and film maker before joining Hijinx in 2014. He began as Academy Coordinator, expanding their unique training courses for learning disabled and/or autistic actors across Wales. He then became an Associate Artist, working as one of the devisers of Hijinx’s hit, internationally-renowned show ‘Meet Fred’, amongst other projects, before starting the company’s new film strand. Hijinx are taking their same highly successful approach to creating work for theatre into film, with learning disabled and/or autistic actors at the heart of the creative process, to affect change in representation across the film & TV industry.
