JAMES NUTTING

James Nutting is a 2D Character Animator based in the UK. He has worked on commercial films and adverts such as, 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea', 'Sesame Street', 'Irn Bru's Christmas advert', 'Ethel and Ernest' and has, most recently, worked on the feature film 'Kensuke's Kingdom'. James has also been involved in many independent films including, 'Creepy Pasta Salad', 'Cwch Deilen/Leaf Boat' and most notably Joanna Quinn's BAFTA nominated 'Affairs of the Art'. 

James is currently finishing his passion project 'Marmalade is Missing'. A burlesque themed animated spectacle, allowing James to indulge in the dynamic and expressive movement that makes his animation so distinct. The film is produced using traditional pencil and paper techniques; a craft James has spent years mastering. 'Marmalade is Missing' is set to be released in the summer of 2022.
