LAURA NASIR-TAMARA

Laura is a London-based, French-Indonesian animator and director, who likes to blend watercolour and monoprint with digital 2D animation, play with both traditional and digital techniques.

Her graduation film from the Royal College of Art  'The Witch's Mask' (2017) was screened internationally and supported by Elf Factory Studios. Since then, she has made two short films with Channel 4 Random Acts: "Two Minutes"(2017) (with poet Yero Time-Biu and artist Adebanji Alade) as well as "It starts with" (2018), which was nominated for the Lefj Marcussen award at Void animation festival. She also works as an illustrator and has lately taken to animate things she says when tipsy, in a series called "Girls with Glasses", in her spare time.
