Lewis Vaughan Jones is a newsreader for BBC News Channels. He anchors BBC World News which is the BBC’s international news channel - watched by over 100 million people every week - as well as the BBC News channel in the UK.

 

Lewis has covered some of the biggest news stories over the past 15 years and interviewed prime ministers, world leaders and news-makers around the world.

 

As a former ITN political correspondent in Westminster, he reported on general elections, leadership races and Brexit. In the United States he covered the Obama administration from Washington DC.

 

Lewis uses a hearing aid implant and works to increase awareness and reduce the stigma of hearing loss.
