MYLES MCLEOD
Myles McLeod is a BAFTA Award winning writer. He’s written over 100 children’s TV episodes and has developed shows for DreamWorks, Milkshake!, BBC, Aardman, Disney and a number of other international clients. In 2021 he was Head Writer for Circle Square, a 40 x 7 minute preschool show, an original idea by Myles and his brother Greg. He was also co-head writer on Millie and Lou for YouTube Originals and Blue Zoo due to be released 2022. Myles writes books for children and his series ‘Knight Sir Louis’ is published by Guppy Books. Myles’ children’s poetry has been published by Macmillan, Emma Press and in multiple editions of the Caterpillar magazine. Myles also collaborates with director and writer Evgenia Golubeva. They have an older children’s animated series in development with Portuguese studio Sardinha em Lata. As part of The Brothers McLeod, Myles has been nominated for two BAFTA Film Awards for Best British Short Animation (2009, 2019) and won a BAFTA Children’s Award in 2011 for “Quiff and Boot” a short series made for Children’s BBC.
