Since her debut, ‘Girls’ Night Out’ (1987), Joanna Quinn has established herself as one of Britain’s most distinctive animators - as much for her vivid, often raucous depiction of women’s lives, as for her instantly recognisable, highly detailed hand-drawn artwork with a strong sense of visual rhythm and movement.

Her 1997 film ‘Famous Fred’ was nominated for an Oscar and she has won over 90 international awards, including 4 BAFTAs and 2 Emmys.
