FFILM CYMRU X CARDIFF ANIMATION FESTIVAL DIFFERENT VOICES

We’re running a short, relaxed project for new and aspiring Neurodivergent animators aged 18 and over and residents in Wales.

Led by Biggerhouse Film, the project combines online 1-to-1 mentoring with in-person group workshops. It’s all about meeting you where you’re at — whether you’ve got a half-formed idea or just a spark — and helping you shape it into something you feel confident to share. At the end, you’ll get the chance to present your work to some supportive industry folks (no scary suits, just friendly faces).

The project is open to those who are:

• New and aspiring animators 

• Aged 18 and over

• Residing in Wales

• Who self-identify as neurodivergent. 

 

To apply, you need to be able to use zoom and be available for the following workshop dates:

• 1st December 2025 | 10:30-12:00 Group session ZOOM

• TBC December 2025 | One to one mentoring ZOOM

• 19th January 2026 | 10:30-15:30 Group workshop At Chapter, Cardiff

• TBC February/March 2026 | One to one mentoring ZOOM

• 24th April 2026 | 11:00-15:30 Group workshop At Chapter, Cardiff​
