Seasoned Puppeteers and makers, Eliot Gibbins and Josh Elwell present a unique insight into the world of ‘on screen’ live action puppetry. They will be talking about their experience working on a wide range of TV productions including; ‘His Dark Materials’, ‘Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared’ and ‘Dark Crystal - Age of Resistance’. 

 

The main focus, however, will be on their recent work on the Doctor Who 60th anniversary and Christmas specials. With a TARDIS full of behind the scenes material to share, Eliot and Josh will describe their process from script to screen and talk about their hybrid approach of collaborating with design, fabrication and VFX teams. 

 

Eliot & Josh look forward to sharing their experiences working on some of the extraordinary creatures of the Whoniverse - From Stooky Sue to Robot Jimbo to The Goblin King!

Yn Bypedwyr a gwneuthurwyr profiadol, mae Eliot Gibbins a Josh Elwell yn cyflwyno mewnwelediad unigryw i fyd pypedwaith byw ‘ar y sgrin’. Byddant yn siarad am eu profiad o weithio ar ystod eang o gynyrchiadau teledu gan gynnwys; ‘His Dark Materials’, ‘Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared’ a ‘Dark Crystal - Age of Resistance’.

 

Bydd y prif ffocws, fodd bynnag, ar eu gwaith diweddar ar ben-blwydd Doctor Who yn 60 oed a rhaglenni arbennig y Nadolig. Gyda TARDIS yn llawn deunydd y tu ôl i’r llenni i’w rannu, bydd Eliot a Josh yn disgrifio eu proses o’r sgript i’r sgrin ac yn siarad am eu dull hybrid o gydweithio â thimau dylunio, saernïo a VFX.
