SALLY GRIFFITH

​

Sally has worked in the media and cinema exhibition sectors for over 25 years.  For much of that time, she headed up independent cinemas such as Chapter (Cardiff) and QUAD (Derby).

 

She set up the BFI Film Hub for Wales which supports a network of 200+ indie venues to programme inspiring and fun screenings and events.  In 2018 she led Anim18, a UK-wide year-long celebration of British Animation.

 

In recent years, Sally has worked in innovation funding within the media sector in Wales at Clwstwr, and if she was allowed to have favourites, they might include those working to make the sector more inclusive and environmentally sustainable.

 

Sally is a member of the Cardiff Animation Festival Advisory Group.
