EMMA FERNANDO
 

Emma Fernando is the Series Producer on “The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe” which is the latest production to come from the award winning team behind the global hit series “The Amazing World of Gumball”.

 

Emma has worked in the animation industry for over 17 years producing content predominantly in 2D and was a key part of establishing the 2D Manchester studio for Brown Bag Films in 2015 where she produced Nickelodeon’s first multiracial princess show “Nella The Princess

Knight”. She has held a variety of roles at both independent production companies and broadcasters.

 

Emma started her career at the BBC and soon moved into animation at Hit Entertainment working on shows such as “Thomas the Tank Engine” and “Fireman Sam”. It wasn’t long before she was on the production floor working on “Waybuloo” for Cbeebies and soon after Tim Burton's movie “Frankenweenie”. Emma then took a role in the original programming team at Disney EMEA where she worked on multiple shows including to help to set up Disney originals “Henry Hugglemonster” and “Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja”.

 

Emma is currently a Series Producer and Development Executive for Hanna Barbera Studios Europe, working on both long running series and development for their slate.
