JOANNA QUINN
 

Cardiff based animation director Joanna Quinn discovered animation while studying Graphic Design at Middlesex University in London. Her graduation film Girls Night Out, introduced audiences to the character of Beryl and kick-started Joanna’s animation career by winning 3 awards at Annecy Animation Festival in 1987. She is renowned internationally for her drawing skills, wonderful characterisations and her humour. Joanna’s films and commercials have won over a 100 awards worldwide including 4 BAFTA’s, 3 EMMY’s and 3 OSCAR® nominations. 

Joanna is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a representative on the Academy’s Short Films and Feature Animation branch executive committee.
