MOLLY ALLEN

 

Molly Allen is a South West Wales based 2D animator and illustrator, whose work is centred around the themes of queer identity, and aims to celebrate them by exploring the long, rich visual lexicon of queerness through a vibrant, playful lens. Since graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2021, with a BA honours in Animation , Molly has had their graduate film, ‘Bear Hunt’ screened at Cardiff Animation Festival, and has won Focus Wales Festival’s Best Music Video award for their work on the music video ‘Marwolaeth’, in 2023
